This video is a serious games and simulation technology demonstration created by Realtime Immersive Inc. It showcases the power of the CryENGINE software development kit being used in various simulation and serious games projects. All parts of this video have been captured out from real-time in-game scenes. Full Time of Day Transition A powerful dynamic lighting system allows changing the time of day in real-time. A replication of the geospecific training site A77 at Eglin Air Force base can be seen in this part of the video. Dynamic Night Vision CryENGINE provides support for a wide array of sensors. This part of the video showcases a dynamic night vision shader . Dynamic Terrain SurfaceTypes Terrain surfaces in CryENGINE contain a large number of parameters which allow them behave physically correct in correlation with the environment and create the according particle effects depending on friction, wind and object impact. Dynamic Weather Environment CryENGINE supports simulation a large number of different weather environments. Scenarios can be set up to simulate extreme weather conditions like snow storms or Tornados. Advanced Integrated Physics A powerful physics simulation system is a core part of CryENGINE. This highly optimized system allows for any object in the game world to be simulated with high detail of physical simulation. Water Current System CryENGINE is unrivaled when it comes to the quality and accuracy of simulation of underwater scenarios. A real-time …

@warspitejr I really hope so too.

@SherdX10 Damn….hopefully they will make a game for the public like this. It will make up all that money that they spent making the game. The army gave them 57 million dollars to make this game after all.

@warspitejr nope but this will be a military simulation.
February 16th, 2012 at 11:25 pm
Will this game be released to the public? Please say yes
February 17th, 2012 at 12:03 am
@lizettenazaire Engine is made by CryTek and RTI is not affiliated with the Army i think. But anyway, i love this, even though im pretty sure there wont be any private licenses to sell.

@promsii4
It’s a Mil-Sim designed for the U.S. Army. Unless you’re willing to spend between $1500 and $3000 plus on a license, you’ll never come close to it. That’s even if they ever release a civilian version… which I doubt. Not too mention it doesn’t even run like a game. It utilizes a 360 degree panoramic screen where the user/users wear helmet mounted HUD’s, BDV’s, and a back-pack sensor system.

Imagine John Carmack’s reaction if you would show this to him back in 1991.

@dinokitty @galaxy366 It is not a game…
February 17th, 2012 at 4:14 am
@lizettenazaire Wait what?
February 17th, 2012 at 4:28 am
@RealTimeImmersive Will it be possible to get licenses for private persons? E.G. for a Tactical Simulations Clan? Do i need a NASA computer for it? Will it be moddable?

@TheDirtFans Frostbite is a game only engine. Its not really god for creating simulations and Training software. RTI made a good choice … IMO
February 17th, 2012 at 5:26 am
frostbite 2 would be better!

how to import the sketchup model into cryengine 3?
February 17th, 2012 at 5:41 am
@kikomiko1 no need for that. you wont be able to play this
February 17th, 2012 at 6:06 am
