Depends what level of Security is required. My company trains people up. You could become a SOX tester they are in demand, you could learn about ethical hacking. Suggest you find out some courses on offer.

Most of the best people working in those fields started as the hackers they are now protecting against.
You need a tremendous knowledge of computers and systems, and good imagination. Having the soul of a bandit is ai help too, so you can anticipate how the hackers will come at you.
So if you think this is a field for you, hack into the personnel records of a large company and read the resume of the technical security chief.

Probably the most widely-recognised security-related courses are given by the SANS institute (http://www.sans.org/). They are not for beginners, though: you’ll need a solid grounding in network and operating system configuration and deployment.
Be prepared for disappointment if you try to get a job armed solely with qualifications. Experience is everything in this industry.
