this is rediculous. just looks like the camera had a bad tracking issue. I don’t see any of the trucks or trailers move. This is a hoax.

@emster716 I currently live in Howard County but I was at my parents house when the earthquake struck in NJ. Thought that someone was playing a joke on me by pushing down on the rear of my car but I didnt see anyone there. I probably would have freaked out if I was home (alone) in Columbia… my fiance works in DC but did not say much about it- like it was no big deal lol

It was 88 miles south of DC. The epicenter was Alexandria Va, we felt it all the way up in Harford County in MD. It was freaky, but such an amazing feeling

@bcmoten On the local news, they’re saying the longer the huricane stays over the water, the more powerful it will become. Right now, it’s projected to reach a Category 4 on Thursday, pass Florida on Friday, and hit us by Sunday. In 2003, Isabel was only a Cat 1, but it still toppled a few trees in my yard, and school was closed for a week. This one is supposed to be a 2, so hoping it’s not too devastating. And yeah, I think it’ll be a rough winter also.

@bcmoten Chesapeake High in Anne Arundel County. Must’ve been an exciting first day for freshmen. Maryland has been getting raped by the weather since Snowmadgedon in December 2009. Wickedly hot summer, snowy winter, earthquake, incoming hurricane, etc.

@bcmoten I’m hoping school is cancelled (tomorrow is my first day back as a senior). But the chances of that happening are pretty much zero. Unless a school has a gas leak, we’ll be heading back tomorrow. I’m counting on Hurricane Irene ripping up some powerlines on Sunday though. Maybe next Monday we’ll get lucky.
