I did some contract work for a company, so I would not have to be out of pocket on materials they added me as an authorized user on a credit card, as well as 4 or 5 other people. Well the owner got arrested for some stupid thing and is in jail so therefore now not able to pay the bill. So they are now trying to contact me (as well as the others, I presume to try and collect). What should I do? Should I answer or ignore the calls? Can they come after me or my assets? Can it affect my credit? I can't remember if I even had to sign anything. It must be a reputable company, of course, as I have read many articles on scam companies that offer this.
